Our Cancellation and refund policy have been revised in accordance with the launch of GoPocket. GoPocket is a system within the GoCar app that captures the earning and spending of GoPocket points, including reimbursements.
All cancellation requests by customers, refunds and reimbursements for transportation, carwash, and fuel claims will be refunded in GoPocket Points.
Refund & Reimbursement:
RM1 => 100 points
To use GoCar points for bookings:
100 points => RM1
Example: 9900 points will be deducted from your GoPocket for a booking worth RM99.
To cancel your booking, drop our team an email at email@example.com with the subject line "[URGENT] Booking Cancellation", along with your booking details including selected GoCar location, booking start date and time, and booking end date and time.
Below is a breakdown on the timeframe to notify us of your cancellation and the number of points you'll receive.
|Cancelled 48 hours before booking start time||
Users will be refunded with points equivalent to the total booking fee + 6%(SST)
User will be refunded with points equivalent to the value of RM99 + (SST) of RM99.
|Cancelled 48 to 12 hours before booking start time||
Points equivalent to 50% of total booking fee with 6% (SST).
User will be refunded with points equivalent to the value of (50% of RM99) + SST of (50% x RM99).
|Cancelled less than 12 hours before booking start time||Strictly no refund|
- Refunds are NOT applicable for any promotional booking (i.e. promo code, giveaway prize). For full details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
- GoCar members who perform more than two cancellations in a row or have a track record of cancellations will be subjected to a penalty.
- Timeframe for GoPocket refunds is 1 working day.
